Hutchinsons is a niche employment law firm providing advice on the whole range of employment law issues for both organisations and for individuals. The practice was formed by Richard Hutchinson in May 1999 and boasts a team of highly experienced employment lawyers.
As well as Richard, the legal team also includes Jo McCarthy and Rebecca Madden who also specialise in employment law advice.
We are also supported by experienced support staff. This means that as an employment team we have a total of ten staff and rank alongside the bigger of the employment teams and the large commercial firms throughout the Midlands. We hope that you will find this website user friendly, accessible, informative and, not least, enjoyable. That is also probably a useful way of describing our ambition in working with our clients. We are very aware of the traditional image of lawyers which is, in many people's minds, 'stuffy' and 'old fashioned'.
We hope and believe that we provide a different, refreshing approach to providing legal advice. We appreciate that providing legal advice involves more than simply telling you the law.
Without exception, our work with our clients involves us assisting them in making commercial and business decisions about any particular course of action. It is probably not difficult to find someone who can recite employment law in a technical fashion without 'getting off the fence' and advising you on a practical solution to any employment law issues you may have.
Our philosophy is to provide you with the benefit of considerable employment law experience but to do so in a way that adds value to your business by helping you to make, often difficult, decisions.
